Dog Training

There are times when our rescued dogs need behavior, socialization or other training prior to being adopted.  When this is necessary, Paws 2 Freedom works in cooperation with local dog training professionals.  We do not ascribe to any specific type of training philosophy, as each dog is unique and we let the professionals decide the best approach.  Here are a few examples of successful training programs.

Ed from Bloss's K-9 Rules (shown below in Left image), has helped so very many of our rescue dogs acclimate into their furever homes. Ed continues to work with our rescue dogs who need training on basic skills, and is a great resource to our adopting families.  Ed can be reached at (484) 894-5129.

Caitlin's Animal Training Services hosts a monthly class for new dog owners. We believe that education is the key to preventing bad behaviors from developing, and keeping families united with their beloved fur babies!  Winnie (second from Left image), went through an extensive board and train program and was adopted!

Tigger (third from Left image), after completion of her behavior training at the former Cole's K9 Center, she was adopted!

Our Dallas (Right image) worked with Rebecca from The Beauty of Dogs. Dallas learned to gain trust in people and socialize in public places, and was adopted!

We have other dogs that received training at AFT Dog Training, and we partner with their boarding daycare program at A Furry Tail Come True for fostering some of our rescue dogs until they find their furever homes.
